(The 2 hotels clients use for Accommodation)
The Current situation regarding flooding is this:
Chettawut Plastic Surgery Center (Nov 15 2011 e-mail)
Doctor Chettawut reports that the Center has experienced NO flooding and is operating normally
The access roads to the center are flood free and passable
Bangkok Rama Hotel (Nov 14 2011 e-mail)
The Manager of the hotel states that the hotel is operating normally and has experienced NO flooding.
The access roads to the hotel are flood free and passable.
She also reports that the Hotel is experiencing near full occupancy as people from outlying areas that have encountered flooding are staying there and it has become somewhat of a flood refuge.
Dusit Princess Srinakarin Hotel (Nov 14 e-mail)
The Sales Manager reports that the Hotel is operating normally and has experienced NO flooding. She goes on to explain what preparations are in place...
Srinakarin and Bang Na road are NOT affected by the flood. (The roads near the hotel).
Dusit Princess Srinakarin have also prepared for these measure:
Preventing Water Entry: Canvas with the height of 1 meter from the ground up, and 1.5 meters from the road has been placed. Ten water pumps have been prepared at the basement and three more at the Srinakarin Road, at the front of the hotel.
Electricity: We operate an in-house generator which is capable of providing sufficient electricity to ensue continues hotel operation and guest service.
Food and Water: Food and water are stored and adequate in case of sudden flooding. The filtration machines can provide enough drinking water during the period.
Transportation: In case of evacuation is declared, we have prepared transportation to Dusit Thani Bangkok (subject to availability)
Transport:
Suvarnabhumi Airport (International) in Bangkok, has not been affected by the floods and are operating as usual. The area around the airport has considerable flood protection measures in place and continues to operate normally.
BTS (above ground Mass Transport Train) and MRT (Subway) are also operating normally.
